Health & Safety A Core Value As Construction Continues On-Site

In our commitment to revolutionising the Magnesium production industry, we prioritise not only ground-breaking innovation but also the paramount importance of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). As the construction of our Demonstration Plant steadily progresses, we are unwavering in our dedication to creating a work environment that prioritises the well-being of our team members, contractors and surrounding communities.

Local safety provider Protective and Safety Services (PASS) have continuously provided and supported our Mincore in Safety | Training | Consulting | Emergency Management Services which have included creating and implementing construction safety systems with continuous review to encompass LMG’s Plant construction progression.

Every morning at 7 a.m., the entire site team, including all contractors, partakes in the pre-start meeting to review the work planned, safety, hazards, and SIMOPS.

We are also excited to be partnering with Coregas for the supply of our industrial gases (Oxygen, Argon, and Carbon Dioxide) for the Demonstration Plant. Argon will be supplied in cylinder 'man-packs', while the other industrial gases (Oxygen and CO2) shall be delivered in bulk. Digitized storage, resupply managed by Coregas on a 24/7 basis, with site installation completed and ready for commissioning.

Magnesium News

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has named Magnesium as an example of a mineral with high levels of supply concentration in their Critical Minerals Market Review 2023.

While the focus has been on battery metals and copper, niche minerals like magnesium may, and have previously, disrupted supply chains due to a reliance on a small group of suppliers (85% China supplied). This highlights the significance of casting a wider net when it comes to critical mineral security.

LMG is actively diversifying worldwide supply chains to guarantee stability in magnesium sourcing.
